Renowned Silicon Valley’s venture capital (VC) firm, Andreessen Horowitz has announced plans to open a new office in DC.
The firm which boasts a massive $48 Billion under its potfolio, will be located on 800 17th Street NW, a few blocks from the Whitehouse. The latest move signals the firm’s growing appetite for investment opportunities in technology companies contracting with federal government.
Buoyed by their new American Dynamism plan, the firm plans to invest over $600 million in defense, space, robotics and manufacturing areas in the near future.
